Welcome from the CEO

At Advance Learning Partnership (ALP), our mission is encapsulated in our aim: ‘Excellent Education through Collaboration’. Our unwavering commitment is to uphold the highest standards of education for every child within our family of schools.

Everyone at ALP plays a crucial role in this endeavour. We understand that every individual’s professional growth directly contributes to the success of our pupils. Each of our schools is a unique entity serving its own community, yet all are united in adapting and applying a set of Trust-wide educational principles tailored to meet the specific needs of their pupils. We operate under a simple, yet profound, ethos: ‘Your child is our child’.

We have structured our Trust to support strong and effective leadership, with the clear aim of delivering the same high standards of education that we wish for our own children. Trust structures include well-established collaborative networks across subjects and themes. These networks are deeply embedded in our daily practices and supported through evidence-based research.

Our central framework consists of three key teams: the School Improvement Team, the School Support Team, and the Children and Civic Services Team. The Central Team provide core services for school leaders ensuring our school leaders can focus their energy and expertise entirely to delivering the best possible educational experiences for our children.

The School Support Team provides specialist support across key operational areas, including finance, estates, data, marketing and governance. The School Improvement Team plays a vital role in supporting, developing and evaluating all aspects of school life, while ensuring our employees have access to the highest quality professional development through our Teaching, Leadership and Research Institute.

Our Children Services Team ensure an inclusive education with internal expertise in SEND, careers and therapeutic care. This includes our three internal ALP Connect Schools, which provide tailored support for pupils with special educational needs, mental health needs and those requiring help to re-engage in education.

The Civic Services Team are leading innovative partnerships across the public and private sectors, creating meaningful opportunities that enrich both the life chances of our pupils and the prosperity of the communities we serve.

ALP Active, our trading subsidiary, enables our school communities to access school facilities during the evening, weekends and school holidays. ALP Active creates a strong community connection, with a mission to encourage active lifestyles within the community by providing a safe and welcoming environment that all age groups can enjoy.

Looking forward, ALP remains committed to supporting all educational pathways with professionalism and a strong moral purpose. Our focus is simple: to make sure every child feels safe, supported and able to succeed, whatever their circumstances.

We are incredibly proud of our children and their achievements. ALP’s strength lies in its people, our school leaders, teachers, governors, and support staff are deeply committed and truly inspiring. It is a privilege to work alongside such skilled and passionate professionals who make a real difference every day.

Together, we are laying the foundations for a future where every child can achieve their full potential. Everything we do is about improving the lives of the children we serve.
