ALP Connect Aspire

ALP Connect Aspire is designed to support children who may be finding school life challenging and are at risk of suspension or exclusion. Aspire gives them a fresh start in a supportive environment where they can re-engage with learning and begin to see education in a positive light.

Children continue to develop their core subjects and functional skills, but what makes Aspire unique is the way much of the learning takes place outside the traditional classroom. With guidance from specialist staff, children build important life skills such as communication, teamwork, tolerance, responsibility, and resilience through a wide range of practical experiences.

Aspire offers children opportunities that help them grow in confidence and connect with their community. They are actively involved in a working farm, support the upkeep of a local football club, contribute to community allotments, and take part in fieldwork that brings local history and engineering to life. From exploring castles and Roman settlements to visiting sites of historic industry, every experience is designed to inspire curiosity, encourage responsibility, and help children rediscover their potential.
