ALP Connect Thrive

ALP Connect Thrive is here to support children with additional needs who are on their school’s SEND register. Sometimes, for a variety of reasons, children may find school a challenging environment. Thrive offers them a short placement, usually lasting from three days up to six weeks, to give them the space and support they require.

At Thrive, children are welcomed into a nurturing environment where they can feel safe, valued, and understood. Our staff use therapeutic approaches and specialist teaching strategies to help children build emotional resilience, grow in confidence, and find ways of learning that work best for them. The aim is always to equip children with skills they can take back into their home school so that they feel ready and able to succeed.

Thrive also works closely with schools, drawing on the expertise of our Trust SEND team, which includes Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Advanced Skills Teachers. This ensures that children receive the right support while they are with us, and that their home school is also prepared to continue supporting them effectively once they return.
