Children and Civic Services

Advance Learning Partnership is committed to delivering innovative, inclusive education and community-focused support through our Children and Civic Services provision. Our aim is for every child not only to excel academically, but to thrive in a rapidly evolving world. Through expert collaboration and strategic partnerships, we provide schools with high-quality, responsive support, ensuring every child receives a holistic education tailored to their needs, interests and potential.

We are committed to enriching the pupil experience by embedding opportunities that deepen understanding of local, regional and national heritage. Curriculum-linked visits and experiences inspire pride, cultural appreciation and a strong sense of community identity.

Beyond academic achievement, we prioritise wellbeing, ensuring children have timely access to skilled professionals for support and early intervention. Our approach is designed to adapt to individual circumstances, preparing all pupils, regardless of their background or barriers, for life beyond school.

Children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) are supported through targeted, inclusive practices that enable full participation in school life. We continue to enhance our SEND provision to ensure equitable access to all learning experiences and resources.

Recognising that regular attendance underpins success, we are focused on identifying and addressing the barriers that prevent engagement. Our strategies involve close collaboration with families and communities to promote consistent attendance and participation.

Safeguarding remains a foundation of our vision. All ALP schools provide safe, secure environments, with staff trained and confident in meeting the full range of children’s needs.

The team is dedicated to building and maintaining strong local partnerships that enhance children’s experiences and promote community cohesion. This includes a clear focus on social inclusion, environmental responsibility, health and cultural understanding.

Key initiatives include embedding sustainability within the curriculum, expanding access to health and wellbeing programmes, and celebrating cultural diversity across our schools. Our educational offer is designed to equip pupils with the skills, knowledge, and values needed for further education, training, and meaningful employment, contributing to individual fulfilment and wider regional prosperity.

We are committed to delivering the kind of education every parent would want for their child, one that empowers pupils and supports the communities they are part of.
