ALP was established in 2017 and has flourished into a resilient, versatile and cost effective Multi Academy Trust.

Our model delivers effectiveness and growing economies of scale facilitating and directing the use of resources to maximise the impact for the young people we serve.

The Trust has developed robust and sustainable systems and processes to support our schools. Optimising financial effectiveness enables the continued investment in our schools, ensuring our buildings and facilities support an exceptional educational provision.

Our Central School Support Team is the engine room of ALP and we are passionate about encouraging them to reflect on their own practice and skills so that they can continue to thrive. We pride ourselves on providing our staff with a range of opportunities that develop their skills allowing them to grow; this investment translates into a highly motivated, dedicated and professional team that are providing the very best support to our school leaders.

The educational landscape continues to evolve at pace with more schools converting to academies and greater consolidation between existing Trusts. The information within our strategy sets out how we provide scalable school support for our academies that is tailored and contextualised to meet the needs of individual schools.
